PECO Green Roof Tour
PHS’s popular monthly tour of the green roof at the downtown headquarters of PECO spans more than 45,000 square feet. The PECO green roof features an observation deck and stunning views of downtown Philadelphia.
When: Tuesday, July 17th from 5 to 6 p.m.

University City District’s Dollar Stroll
More than a dozen participating businesses set up shop on their stoops to offer $1 dining specials for the University City District’s Dollar Stroll. Over 2,000 people walk the streets enjoying live music, street performances, and community vendors.

Summer Movie Series at Penn’s Landing
Every Thursday night in July and August, a different film is screened outdoors on the big screen at Penn’s Landing on the banks of the Delaware River. The screenings begin at dusk and, as is the case with all events at Penn’s Landing, admission is free. Prior to the start of each screening, there are activities, coordinated with the theme of that week’s film.
When: Thursdays from July through August, between 8 to 8:30 p.m.
