Video: Life is Awesome PRO-test at Love Park Spreads Positivity for New Documentary
By William Yang |If you were passing by Love Park last week, you might have seen this PRO-test organized by the Life Means What team.
A PRO-test is an event that rallies people together to celebrate the “good” in life. The participants held signs that encouraged positivity among the passersby in Love Park.
The group of filmmakers have collaborated with Indiegogo, the world’s largest global funding platform, to “curate amazing short web content that will explore meaning and purpose in life from a diverse array of perspectives.”
The campaign has raised $121,982 of their $150,000 goal, with just 2 weeks left. 10% of the money will be donated to a variety of nonprofits, and donors can do everything from being credited as a crew member to personally selecting where $1,500 of the charity money goes as a co-executive producer.
The team of filmmakers plan to visit the nonprofits selected by contributors to highlight the work they are doing and share how they add meaning to the lives of those they affect.
A followup PRO-test will be held next Wednesday in Rittenhouse Square Park at noon, in addition to three more planned gatherings in Palm Beach, Florida, New Jersey, and Los Angeles.
Full disclosure: Here’s My Chance helped organize this event with Life Means What. In the past, Generocity.org has contracted Here’s My Chance for marketing consultation.
