Our Purpose

Baker Industries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit workforce development program employing and finding outside employment for the disabled, recovering substance abusers, parolees, and the homeless.

Our Impact

Baker Industries saves lives. We do not believe there is any other organization in the country that has a workforce development program quite like ours and does it all without accepting any government

Key Programs

Baker Industries Unique Workforce Development Program
The purpose of our 30-year old workforce development program is to instill a strong work ethic in our population of vulnerable adults. In contrast to sheltered workshops, all our program participants are paid a wage, the legal minimum wage, while performing work for external customers either at one of our work sites or as a temp at the customer's work site.
