Once fully launched later this year, Generocity will offer all nonprofitsNonprofit:  An organization that exists for reasons other than to make a profit, such as charitable, community or service organizations, schools, cultural groups, and faith-based institutions. within Greater Philadelphia (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties) unparalleled access to a growing Internet-savvy audience. As our region's first online publication dedicated to local nonprofits, businesses and individuals who are advancing causes and working to strengthen their communities, Generocity will:

  • Tell compelling, inspiring stories that will energize greater and deeper involvement in worthy efforts
  • Appeal to new groups of donors who seek innovative, easy-to-use online donation tools.

This means that with just a few clicks, Generocity visitors will be able to donate quickly to charities they've just read about.

You can ensure the organizations you care about are included in the region's most comprehensive and content-rich online directory of nonprofits. It all starts with completing our online form for each and every nonprofit you're associated with. Our writers will use what you submit to create organizational profiles and, eventually, stories for the public.

With each submission, your name will be entered in a randomized monthly drawing to be one of 10 people who will receive a $50 deposit to start your Generocity giving account. Once the full site is launched, you can use the funds to develop your philanthropic portfolio through Generocity.

  • Overview of up to three major programs, including who they serve, and impact metrics
  • Major annual events
  • Major accreditations, awards and honors
  • Estimated yearly budget
  • Number of full- and part-time staff
  • Story leads
